So someone tried to break into my car last week and damaged the drivers side door lock.
I'm able to lock the car but unlocking is a real pain, I have to wiggle the key for a few minutes to unlock. (My car came with one key and no key fob) I am just curious if I can get a used door lock from the wreckers and code it to my key? I tried looking in the workshop manual but couldnt find anything on rekeying the tibbe locks. I have also have been having trouble locating a brand new key cylinder repair kit online. Thanks. |

Hi. The BA falcon manual in the tech resources has a section on rebuilding the tibbe locks. I was able to do a wagon tailgate lock using normal hand tools. Cheers MD
